The Duchess of Sussex reportedly wanted to take her children to a discreet hotel without Prince Harry
Meghan Markle reportedly considered moving to a “secure and discreet” hotel with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet after becoming concerned about their safety.
According to an insider, the Duchess of Sussex wanted to take the children there without Prince Harry, with their protection her first priority.
“She didn’t even want to be in the UK to begin with, so when she sensed danger, she bolted – and Harry was blindsided,” the source claimed.
Speaking to RadarOnline, the insider alleged that Harry had expected returning to Britain to make securing police protection easier.
“He feels like such a fool,” the source claimed. “He thought they’d return to the UK and getting security would be a cinch. Not so. He hasn’t gotten the protection he expected. He’s humiliated and furious.”
The outlet also linked Meghan’s alleged hotel plans to unverified rumours about Harry’s personal life. It claimed he had developed feelings for an “age-appropriate” mystery woman in the Santa Barbara area and alleged that Meghan discovered the supposed affair through text messages. These allegations remain unconfirmed.
More recent reports, however, present a different picture, describing Meghan as smiling and confident as she plans to launch her products in the UK. Some outlets have also suggested she could be preparing for a permanent return.
