Prince George’s important meeting with grandfather King Charles revealed
King Charles is reportedly preparing to spend some valuable one-on-one time with Prince George at Balmoral before the young royal begins a new chapter at Eton College.
The 13-year-old prince is expected to start his secondary education at the prestigious boarding school in September, marking a major milestone in his life.
Before the new school year begins, Prince William and Princess Kate are expected to enjoy a summer break with their children. Following royal tradition, the family will likely join King Charles and other senior royals at Balmoral in Scotland.
According to New Idea, the monarch hopes to use the family gathering as an opportunity to offer personal advice to George, who is second in line to the throne.
“There’s no doubt George has become the apple of the King’s eye, and he’s looking forward to spending some time with him at Balmoral, with some wise parting words before he heads off to Eton,” a source claimed.
While Charles is reportedly keen to help his grandson understand the responsibilities that await him as a future king, he also wants George to enjoy a happy, relaxed and well-balanced school experience.
“He was very pleased with Eton for William and expects updates on George’s progress every week,” an insider added.
The report comes amid speculation about possible differences between King Charles and Prince William over the prospect of Prince Harry making a return to the royal fold. However, neither Buckingham Palace nor Kensington Palace has publicly confirmed claims of a disagreement.
