Royal author shares Harry’s hopes for reconciliation but doubts the brothers will reunite for the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death.
Prince Harry still hopes to mend his relationship with his elder brother, Prince William, according to royal author Omid Scobie. The comments come amid their uncle Charles Spencer’s latest criticism of the royal family.
Despite his grievances over the royals’ treatment of him and Meghan Markle, the Duke of Sussex wants to repair ties with his estranged brother. He also hopes they can honour their late mother together and keep her legacy alive.
Scobie said Harry has “made it no secret that his wish for things moving forward, not just with his father, but with his brother as well, is to reconcile.”
However, Scobie, long regarded as one of the Sussexes’ most prominent media allies, does not expect the brothers to reunite for the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death next year.
