Meghan reportedly turns to Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi for advice amid concerns over her family’s privacy
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children, Archie and Lilibet, could face another upheaval shortly after reportedly settling into a new school in Britain.
According to New Idea, the family changed schools just two days after the children started, amid uncertainty over their security arrangements. The report claims a decision on police protection remains pending while RAVEC conducts a risk assessment.
Although Harry reportedly said the children are doing “great” at their new school, sources suggest Meghan is still uneasy following an alleged breach of her privacy.
A friend told the publication that Meghan was distressed after her phone number reportedly spread beyond a parents’ WhatsApp group.
“Meghan’s not happy,” the source said. “She’s worried for their safety.”
The friend claimed the couple had worked hard to keep their personal details private, leaving Meghan concerned that their home address could also become public.
A warning letter was reportedly sent to the children’s new school and other schools nearby, although the account offers little detail about its contents.
“She’s on high alert and it wouldn’t be a surprise if she’s got ‘grab-and-go’ bags packed already,” the source claimed.
With those concerns in mind, Meghan has reportedly approached Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, for advice on private places to stay should the family need to leave at short notice.
The report suggests a trusted hotel is among the options being considered, with front-desk security offering an additional layer of protection.
Insiders say Ellen and Portia know the area well and understand the pressures facing the Sussexes.
Despite the reported unease, Meghan is said to be determined to make the arrangements work. Whether that will mean another move for Archie and Lilibet remains unclear.
